I think i was one of the VERY first people to EVER sign up for a twitter account when they first came into the world a number of years ago.I thought it was kinda cool, another great new online communication device. I didn't know anything about it, but thought, "what the hey, i'll sign up!"
A very short time later, it became obvious to me that I JUST DIDN'T GET IT AT ALL, so i think I tweeted only a very few number of times. I really don't get the attraction, sitting on your computer telling people what you're doing at that moment in time.
Really? WHO WOULD CARE THAT MUCH?
So although I still have a twitter account (because I don't remember any of my info to do anything with it), i never use it. TODAY, though I am going to use this blog as a
"REAL TIME UPDATE",
much like the world's beloved TWITTER. hahahahahahahaaa!!
then I'll answer the latest onslaught of questions.

AUSTRALIA
June 8-22, 2013
ALL BY MYSELF.
(I'm thinking that could change, but for now, it's just me.)
I will not be charging A SINGLE DIME for me to come and teach those of you that take the time to have me come and teach you.
It's a trip I've wanted to do, so i'm doing it. That's the only reason i'm coming to Australia. SO, those of you that are trying to cost this all out, or have others costing it all out and want to know how much to tack onto the price of a class to also cover my fees,
DON'T ADD ANYTHING EXTRA!
[Pammy, I will respond to your email today.:)]

LAW
is BUUUUUUSSSSYYYYYY!!
way too busy some days.
Doing a couple of high profile cases, so those of you here in Calgary, may see me mentioned in the media now and again these days... comes with the territory I guess. It can be hard on children of the mother who does what i do, but it's amazing to me how the kids handle it all. THEY totally understand 100% what i do, and yet sometimes it's hard to get GROWN adults to understand the nature of our system... sigh.
whatever.

THIS BLOG
must go. :(
no amount of crying, sighing, begging, stomping your feet, whailing, pleading, asking, suggesting,
NOR DEATH THREATS
will change that.
sorry.
I will be going off line approx. JUNE 7th, 2013. we have lots of time until then, for me to tell you everything I know about what you want to know about.
I think I'll do a few more
"SHOW AND TELL"s
before May, especially for the trickier techniques, although there are still a couple i WILL NOT show you on this blog.
Those in Australia will see them and do them when I get there.;0)

QUESTIONS
Q: now I am back...you are going?
A: yes. JUNE 7, 2013.
Q: Would like you to go over one of the techniques you showed us before with brown, ink crystals...were they?
A: okay i will and yes, they are walnut ink crystals. LOVE those things. FYI: I still have them for sale if anyone is interested...
Q: Can you stamp on and emboss on glass?
A: YES! absolutely.
Q: you can make your own rubons!? how?
A: Yes. it's easy. It's NOT like the ones you buy in the store. my technique is different, but they're great and mine LAST FOREVER, unlike the crap that has been peddled to unsuspecting scrapbookers in the past, [Heid Swapp's rub-ons from a few years ago come to mind. I have layouts i used her rub-ons and the rub-on has flaked right off] I'll show you how i make mine.
Q: Can transfers be done of photos onto glass?
A: yes. it's tricky, BUT DO-ABLE!
Q: What kinds of ink do you use on the glass that will not wipe off?
A: Staz-on. comes in a few colours, but I only ever use black anyway so I don't care that it has limited colours. You can also use other inks but you have to seal the image after. I'll show you.
Q: When is that happening again?(referring to the closing of this blog)
A: JUNE 7th, 2013
Q: Will you tell me again or do I have to go searching through the posts?
A: I'll tell you. :) okay, already told you.
Q: I want to know what inks you use on the metal to make it look aged.
A: hmmmm...did i do that? if i did, point me to the project and I'll tell you how I did it.
Q: I want to know if you are going to be uploading your past as well as future creations somewhere online where I can go peek.
A: No.
Q: and if I keep asking you questions will you promise to answer EVERY SINGLE ONE NO MATTER WHAT?
A: Yes. as long as it's before June 7th.
Q: G did you get my emails, maybe I haven't sent to the right email gloriafroese@me.com ??
A: I got it. I will be responding today. :)
Q: I remember seeing some large rolls of paper in a basket - from a post of your 'old' scrap space - so thought the paper was from those. So what do you do with the paper in the rolls?
A: Album covers mostly. I needed big sheets to cover an entire 12x12 album, front to back, so i bought large sheets of decorative paper that we used to also sell in the store. One roll is also Glassine, which i put into albums sometimes between the pages...
Q: And also, do you have to 'seal' the surface after using the china pens - does it rub off eventually?
A: Sometimes I seal it and sometimes I don't. I've never had a problem with it rubbing off!! it's fairly permanent once on a surface. I've never tested this or tried it so...??
Q: Would you mind showing an example where you have used one?
A: No, i don't mind at all! I'll have to go through my albums etc. and pull some stuff out... bear with me while I do that. :)

Hi mom and dad. I don't have that picture. I only had a copy that mom gave me a long time ago when I asked her for one along with a bunch of others. I'm not sure where the original is? she must have it somewhere?
teaching on a farm near Lipton...wow. that sounds like exciting stuff! Who, pray tell, would come to this class? I'll have to think about that or in other words, ponder that thought... ;0)
